IT and security for practices, built around the HIPAA Security Rule

Medical, dental, chiropractic, physical therapy and rehab, DME and O&P, optometry and audiology practices, and independent pharmacies. We keep your systems running and patient information protected, and help you document it the way the Security Rule expects.

We support Tampa Bay medical and specialty practices, from day-to-day help desk to EHR migrations, so we know what a down system means for a full schedule.

What we hear from practices

A risk analysis that's overdue, or never done

The HIPAA Security Rule expects a documented risk analysis. Many practices have an old one, a template nobody finished, or nothing at all.

Staff using free AI tools with patient information

Someone pastes a referral letter or a patient message into a free AI chat to save time. That information has now left your control.

Ransomware means cancelled appointments

When the EHR and the scheduler are locked, you can't see patients, bill or answer the phone with any confidence.

Vendors with standing access to your systems

EHR, imaging and billing vendors connect remotely whenever they need to, and nobody is sure which accounts are still active.

Shared logins at the front desk

One login for the front desk, another passed between providers. It's convenient until you need to know who opened a chart.

What we do

Managed IT and security first, from a local team that has kept Tampa Bay businesses running since 2005.

A help desk that knows clinics

One number for the front desk, the providers and the billing office, answered by a Tampa Bay team that understands a full schedule can't wait.

Accounts and access done right

Individual logins, multi-factor sign-in, and access that ends the day someone leaves or a vendor contract does.

Email that protects patient information

Phishing filtering, encrypted email for anything with patient details, and the settings that stop accidental forwarding outside the practice.

Backups you can restore

Your systems and files backed up and test-restored on a schedule, so ransomware or a failed server costs hours, not weeks.

Computers and networks kept current

Workstations encrypted and updated, guest and patient Wi-Fi kept separate from the network your systems run on.

AI, used safely

Patient information only belongs in AI tools whose vendor signs a Business Associate Agreement and that run on company accounts. We help you pick those tools, set them up, and write down what staff may and may not put into them.

Questions we get

Does the risk analysis take care of HIPAA for us?

It covers one of the things the Security Rule expects, and the plan that comes with it shows what else to fix. No assessment can promise more than that. We help you meet your obligations and document the work; your privacy officer or attorney has the final word.

We're a veterinary practice. Does HIPAA apply to us?

Generally no, since HIPAA covers human health information. For veterinary practices we lead with our Cyber Insurance Readiness Assessment instead, which checks you against the questions your cyber insurer asks.

Do you work with pharmacies and DME suppliers?

Yes. Independent pharmacies, DME suppliers and orthotics and prosthetics practices have the same mix of patient information, vendors and front-desk pressure.

Do you replace our EHR or practice management software?

No. We keep the computers, accounts, network and security around it running and protected. Your software vendor still supports the software itself.

How big does our practice need to be?

We usually work with practices where 15 or more people use a computer or phone for work. Smaller than that? Talk to us anyway, and we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit.
