1. 1. 2-hour minimum. Every emergency is billed at least 2 hours at the rate you choose, even if the fix takes ten minutes.
2. 2. Paid before we start. The 2-hour minimum is paid online through PayPal before a technician logs in or drives out. We never take card numbers on this form, by email, by text or over the phone.
3. 3. More time. If the work needs more than 2 hours, we stop and tell you before going further. Each further 2-hour block is paid the same way before we continue. Prepaid time you don't use is credited on your final invoice.
4. 4. Parts, equipment and travel. Parts and equipment you approve are billed at cost plus 30%. On-site visits add a travel fee that we tell you before we drive out. These are invoiced when the work is done, payable within 7 days.
5. 5. If we can't start. If we can't start the work after you pay, we refund the payment in full.
6. 6. Best effort. Emergency work is done on the systems as we find them. We can't guarantee that every system or file can be recovered, especially without a working backup.
7. 7. Your authority. You confirm you are authorized to approve this work for the business and to give us access to the systems involved. Our technician starts every remote session; we will never ask you to install software from a link someone sent you.
8. 8. Liability. Our liability is limited to the fees paid for this service.
9. 9. Record of this authorization. We keep this signed authorization with the date, time, internet address and terms version as the record of your approval, and email you a copy.
